Struck from 800 silver with 98% of the silver frosting (rhodium) still intact.NSDAP Party District Badge Dated 1925 (Traditions-Gau Abzeichen) with Case.Fine quality type "A" badge struck from 80% pure German silver with a charcoal gray burnished finish. WCHTLER & LANGE-MITTWEIDA" and hallmarked "800" in raised text on the rear center of the Swastika.The front is near mint while the back shows minor wear from rubbing on the recipient's tunic while being worn.Hallmarked "800" with a "3167" strike number above.
The EK was reinstituted on 19.7.1970 by King Wilhelm I during the Franco-Prussian War, and again on 5.8.1914 by King Wilhelm II during WWI.
